Electronic Music New York is an organization created to produce concerts, connect composers from the world of music with a variety of collaborators in other arts and sciences; to commission new compositions, and produce ways of presenting work creatively to the widest audience. The organization’s intent is to forge new domains in education, community interaction, and public festivals and concerts and to seek an audience diverse in age, culture and interests.
New York is the ideal crucible for titrating tradition with new techniques, connecting with forms of theater, dance, visual art, and others, integrating new concepts in science and technology, showcasing new instruments and compositions and extending its long musical tradition into a new age.
